Theatres for Children

A puppet musical from children from 3 to 103 about a witch who falls in love. Incidentally, it is the witch’s birthday.  Children will also see the beautiful princess Květa and the spooky goblin Bořivoj. But big and small members of the audience help to ensure a happy end. The performance features puppets, masks and live actors.

For children from 3 years of age

In the palace gardens of an old king is an apple tree that bears golden apples. But they keep disappearing every night. The king promises the kingdom to whoever catches the thief. All three sons set out into the world. The youngest son called Miroslav meets a fox that promises to help him find the thief in exchange for the kindness he showed her. Their journey is long and full of twists. But as it happens in fairy-tales, good defeats evil. A puppet fairy-tale with singing.

For children aged 3 to 12

A group of young people finds an abandoned scratched wardrobe. To their surprise it conceals a treasure – a magical land and several puppets. But what to do with them? A fairy-tale! The one about the Red Riding Hood. But how was it in the story? Piece after piece we put together the story of the little girl, her grandmother, the gamekeeper and the evil wolf. But if there was no knowing audience, there would be no fairy-tale. And so with the help of imagination, several puppets, songs and in particular children’s minds, the Little Red Riding Hood can finally celebrate with her grandmother. The wardrobe has also a reason to celebrate.
