Organopolis takes a humorous look at the physical and emotional journey affecting young pupils’ everyday lives through the reactions of their body’s organs.

A wild boy is found in the woods by a solitary hunter and brought back to civilization. Alienated by the strange new environment, the boy tries to adapt by using the same strategies that kept him safe in the forest.

“Time and space, time to be alone, space to move around – these may be the scarcities of tomorrow.” Edwin Way Teale

This quote inspired the process of creating this film and reflects its conceptual foundation.

In a worldwide exquisite corpse made by twelve of the most promising young animators on the scene today, we follow Bear and Duck in a relentless chase for a green bottle and a handful of red pills in a quest to set things right. A celebration of the art of collaboration and the creative process.

This metaphorical surrealist tale is an allusion, a trip into memories and the fields of current realities. What if the Nightingales worked instead of singing and going south? Is innocence the only saviour of birds’ songs? There are no nightingales in December... What is left is only the history of our beginning, and our end.

A woman walks through life, but the real journey is deeper within as she confronts her changing body and learns to love herself.

It is winter. At the end of a branch hangs a single leaf. A little black bird comes along to water the leaf, but it falls off. The wind lifts the leaf and dances with it through the snowy wood. The little bird joins in, delighted. But the fiery red fox behind the tree is already licking his lips.

There is no triangle without corners. There is no direction without a triangle. There is no movement without direction.

Watched by their grandfather, two children sit at the table. The unruly siblings don’t want to eat their soup and run away. Behind the door, they find themselves in a completely different reality and are trapped in this nightmarish world forever. Naughty children must be punished. Or as Heinrich Hoffmann writes: “Those who don’t eat their soup will end up dead.”

Wind is a short animation about daily life in a windy country. 

The humdrum daily routine for the streetcar driver. Every morning, men get on the tram to go to work, one after another, all similar, quiet, grey, apathetic. And yet, one day, following the jolts and the road’s vibrations, to the rhythm of the tickets inserted in the ticket-stamping machine, the driver finds herself turned on and the vehicle gets erotic. Music maestro!

A cube frame allows us to look into an impossible mind-bending peepshow that constantly defies the confines of its physical space. We see a domestic drama play out as a character battles with issues of love, creativity, personal integrity and attitudes. Some know what they are looking for, others do not.

The good things that we try to keep eventually vanish anyway, but they still exist in our memories. The drawings on the foggy glass always disappear quickly as time goes by, even more than 3,000 pictures drawn on a car window in Tainan City.

A visit by an alien life form results in a change of perspective in more ways than one

He lives in the shadows. The one who inspires fear. Other children don’t even dream that he exists. But the young vampire Kali does exist, and suffers from not being able to live in the light. One day, while once again watching the other young boys play beside the train tracks, he breaks from his isolation and discovers that because of who – and what – he is, he can make a difference in others’ lives.

Kemi lives and works in the murky slipstream of a North London pub. As the booze flows, the line between who belongs behind and in front of the bar becomes increasingly blurred.

Noise literally means unwanted sound. When many undesired signals accumulate, the wanted signal is suppressed and overtaken. But what if we tried to understand the signal as a whole rather than only focusing on the wanted signal? Noise is a big source of signals, one that might have a greater value that we have not yet discovered.

Nyosha is a ten-year-old girl. During the reality of a pitiless war, she dreams of buying a pair of shoes. A range of animation techniques brings together dream and reality, and tells Nyosha’s story. A true story based on the testimony of a Holocaust survivor, the late Nomi Kapel.

The film is a subjective interpretation of the utopian novel Altneuland, written by Benjamin Theodor Herzl. Through surrealist allegory, the film tries to deal with the collapse of that dream and seeks to emphasize the sense of absurdity and instability of my personal experience as an individual and as a part of Israeli society.

Max suffers from sleep paralysis, Gustav is a sheep, and Xenia’s future as a children’s and youth psychiatrist is at risk. Furthermore, they’ve just been kicked out of school and have been accidentally transformed into super-heroes. But those are the least of their problems, because together, they’re all Heavy Mental.

An artist struggles to navigate the territory between despair and epiphany, and calls upon an inner/outer muse. In the course of their debate, subtle metamorphoses and colour mirror the poetic discussion that oscillates whimsically between the characters.

When did you last talk with your father? Will you ever ask him about those things that hurt you?

Several model automobiles race from Prague’s Kampa Park to the top of Petřín Hill. There is not doubt that there will be plenty of dramatic and comical situations. Although there will certainly be all kinds of crashes and adrenaline-laden moments, not a drop of gasoline will be spilled in this first 100% environmental automobile race. With commentary by Jaromír Bosák.

The connection between parents and their children can be very strong and very fragile at the same time. Children need understanding, unconditional love and affection during adolescence as never before. Sometimes they don’t get it from their frightened parents, who so often live under the illusion that control is possible. Miscommunication may lead to tragic consequences.

Toto is a sensitive boy, raised by a lonely and hard-working mother somewhere in a far province where life revolves around daily, inveterate habits. A kaleidoscope of events filled to the brim with suspense and awe, the film is a universal story of naiveté and irreversibly lost childhood dreams. If we lack the word to name a phenomenon, we cannot know exactly what has happened.

A man calls a company to cancel his contract. While waiting, he starts to doodle. The drawings show how he becomes more and more impatient while hearing the message “All operators are busy, one moment please....” over and over again.
