'Re-cycling Project' involves 10 animation artists, coming from different European countries. Each of them will make 1 minute of animation, drawing directly on film celluloid, with their own style. To celebrate the 100 anniversary of Norman McLaren, one of the pioneers of film history. The ten artists will participate in a game, and will have to follow some ground rules, regarding technique, subject, length, and predetermined deadlines. The subject of this 1' animation is connected to the item each artist will have to choose. The ten objects will be collected and then exchanged, so every author will receive something chosen by someone else, and will not know by whom and why. Those chosen authors are some of the most interesting among European animation artists: Špela Čadež (Slovenia), Rastko Ćirić (Serbia), Vessela Dantcheva (Bulgaria), Magda Guidi (Italy), Joni Männistö (Finland), Regina Pessoa (Portugal), Ülo Pikkov (Estonia), Marina Rosset (Switzerland), Gábor Ulrich (Hungary), Petra Zlonoga (Croatia). 

After several years, the Třeboň Chateau Gallery once again hosts an exhibition of seven artists whose profession and fate became animated film. Maria Axamitová, Ivana Fašianoková Rakoušová, Petra Makaloušová, Jiří Tyller, Jiří Plass, Luděk Bárta and Vít Pancíř have all tried individual professions of animated film – script, graphic design, direction, layout, background, animation, phasing and contouring. And yet they have kept their own distinct styles and set out on solo careers. For years, they have been exhibiting either as individuals or as a group.
