Game Day

Richard Hogg is an artist, illustrator and game designer from Hastings in the United Kingdom. He will be talking mostly about his work and his game Hohokum. Players take on the role of a curious, technicolor kite-like being. Along their travels through the vibrant world they can uncover secrets by interacting with elements around them. The world of Hohokum is an expressive and mesmerizing universe full of surprises.

CHUCHEL is a new “animated” game by Czech studio Amanita Design. It is named after its hero who plays out a series of gags in an endless pursuit of his longed-for reward. This game, full of humorous situations, has been in development since 2012 and Game Day will be its first public presentation. It will also include previews of the completed parts. You will also get to know Chuchel, his life, work, mysterious origin, hobbies and perhaps even some curiosities from his life with Kekel. The game, developed by the creative team which created Botanicula, will be presented by its author Jaromír Plachý.

Jakub Dvorský will present and talk about the latest game by Amanita Design, Samorost 3. Samorost 3 is an exploration-adventure and puzzle game. Our most ambitious experience to date and a loose continuation of the older Samorost and Samorost 2. Samorost 3 follows a curious space gnome who uses the powers of a magic flute to travel across the cosmos in search of its mysterious origins. Visit nine unique and alien worlds teeming with colourful challenges, creatures and surprises to discover, brought to life with beautiful artwork, sound and music.
