Our Juries are Complete

Our juries of feature and short films competitions will once again consist of international professionals with experience in both theory and practice. Some of them are connected to this year’s festival theme such as Italian animator Magda Guidi and curator and pedagogue Chiara Magri. Women dominance in the juries will be confirmed by Czech director famous for her paint-on-glass animation technique Lucie Sunková, producer Pavla Janoušková Kubečková and film historian and theorist Sylva Poláková. Třeboň will also host experts in atypical animation techniques - renowned Argentinian animator Juan Pablo Zaramella and Serbian animator Miloš Tomić who studied at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Our feature competition jury will be complemented by famous Belgian director and screenwriter Stéphane Aubier, half of the duoPic Pic André(the other half being his colleague Vincent Patar), known to the Czech audiences for the feature film A Town Called Panic. He will be accompanied by curator and producer Mihai Mitrica, founder of the Romanian festival Anim’est.
