Special Screenings, Classics Rebooted and Films after Dark

During special screenings, Anifilm will screen premieres of animated films, curiosities and also unique works. You will see e.g. the latest feature by American independent director Bill Plympton, Revengeance, digitally restored film The Fabulous Baron Munchausen by Karel Zeman and the legendary Czech-French sci-fi co-production Fantastic Planetaccompanied by live music by Aid Kid featuring electronic music producer Tomáš Havlen, violoncellist Terezie Kovalová and pianist Jiří Libanský. This year, our traditional Midnight Animation will present serious and not-so-serious animated erotic films and Czech independent series Škarohlídovi with its unscrupulous comments on the Czech Republic of today.
