We Launched a New Website!

After several years, Anifilm has a new website! Marek Náprstek, the graphic designer of the next Anifilm, went back to the drawing board and created a brand new design of our website. See for yourselves.
His designs are based on an extensive research on which he comments: “When working on classification of genetic mutations of the lens mitochondria mendacium audax, I happened to find a mention of Doctor Manstein in the archives of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Among otherwise mediocre works, I found a short work on controlled cell fusion. I was amused by the surrealism of the topic and I would have moved on with a smile had I not seen a small shabby photograph attached to the back cover with a paper clip. From the black and white picture, dozens of eyes with no bodies stared directly at me. They were apparently posing for the photographer – Doctor Manstein. I was fascinated by this bizarre spectacle and I realized that the lens will have to wait for some time.”
Apart from his interest in genetics, Bc. BcA. Marek Náprstek also studies at the Department of Animation of the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and has, among others, directed film More I Know included in this year’s Anifilm competition.
