A saline desert covers acres of dried-out land where strange salt trees appear. This phenomenon echoes an even greater ecological disaster, the desertification of the Aral Sea. And man is always responsible.

The last submarine ‘porn’ by Momoko Sato also stars a prawn. She experiences a very short but intense moment of passion with a young man. This surreal closing film of the programme is titled A Tuesday Morning on Your Bed.

In our jury programme section, we also present the latest Planet made by our juror, Momoko Seto. You’ll not see it in a classical cinema, but at the VR cinema in Chateau Liberec. Using 360° technology, the director shows us a possible post-apocalyptic version of a devastated Planet Earth where giant insect carcasses serve as mycelium for fungi and mould.
