Czech Horizon – Introducing Qualifying Projects

The first edition of the Czech Horizon pitching event, supported by the PPF Foundation, will take place on 3rd May 2023 during the Anifilm festival. The selection committee, consisting of Jana Tomas Sedláčková, Tomáš Rychecký, Pavel Horáček, Kamila Dohnalová, Malvína Balvínová, Kateřina Zajícová, Vojtěch Spěvák, Karolína Davidová and Kristina Dufková, has chosen a total of 10 projects from all the applicants. These projects will be presented to the public and the jury during the pitching event in Liberec.

The total value of the grant provided is 1,000,000 CZK. The allocation of financial resources to individual projects will be decided by a jury of film professionals based on the pitching presentations. The aim of the Grant is to support the production of Czech authorial professional short animated films. The pitching event is part of the industry programme of the Anifilm festival.
