Game Pitch Arena Liberec 24 is a unique opportunity for game developers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other countries. For the very first time, Cyber Sail organises a pitching session at Anifilm. The goal of the pitchers is to impress a panel of publishers and investors with their idea and business model in order to enter into further negotiations with them about publishing and supporting their title, helping them navigate the professional network and successfully completing the project.
Individual studios have a chance to win valuable financial support which will undoubtedly help independent studios with their projects.
For the Arena, the PPF Foundation, the main partner of the Anifilm International Film Festival, has generously allocated 10 000 EUR and O2 Czech Republic contributed with setting up the best possible internet connection at a place chosen by the winner including a one-year lease of hardware for free. Last but not least, legal company Mavericks donated a 1000 EUR worth of their services.
The Pitching Session in Liberec offers a unique opportunity for small and big game developers to present their projects to experienced gaming industry professionals (some of them represent publishers). These experts can quickly identify the strengths and weaknesses of each project, award the best and recommend them to potential publishers for funding. This event is not only a competitive event, but it’s also a platform for developing and learning, which makes it an invaluable experience for all participants.
