Czech Horizon Grant Supported by the PPF Foundation Presents the Competing Projects of Short Animated Films

The aim of the Czech Horizon Grant Supported by the PPF Foundation is the support of professional Czech short, animated projects. The grant amounts to 1 000 000 CZK in total. The second year of the pitching will take place on 8th May 2024 in Liberec. The selection comittee picked 8 projects to compete for the grant: Chemodan (d. Marek Náprstek), Dagon (d. Prokop Wilhelm), To Work by Bike (d. Marek Náprstek), The Mermaid’s Effect (d. Markéta Magidová), Happy Epi (d. Noemi Valentíny), The Story of Eve (d. Klára Jůzová), Period Drama (d. Michaela Mihályiová), The Princess and the Wolf (d. Michaela Jůzová). The jury of the second year of the Czech Horizon Grant will be composed of dramaturge and producer Anna Vášová, director Kristina Dufková, PPF Foundation board member Jana Tomas Sedláčková, producer Vladimír Lhoták and director and animator Pavel Koutský.
