Liberec for Children
29 | 04
An inseparable part of Anifilm’s programme are events for children and this year is no different. The main festival venue for our young visitors is the Czech Television Hall in the Naïve Theatre where we concentrate screenings for children. You can look forward to new European animation for children, bears who met at Kolín, bedtime stories voiced by Liberec native Oldřich Kaiser and the world premiere of a new series for children titled Our Piggy. Naïve Theatre, other venues and the Dr. Edvard Beneš Square will host screenings of films which children certainly shouldn’t miss – for instance the digitally restored version of Karel Zeman’s The Stolen Airship, popular Minions and breath-taking Howl’s Moving Castle. The Festival Tent will witness several theatre performances including traditional Japanese Kyogen theatre. In order to not confine children to screenings and performances, Anifilm will offer other activities. How about making one’s own animated film in our School of Animation or animation van ANICIRCUS? Once again, the festival will be visited by Czech Television’s Dubbing Studio, this year from Friday to Sunday. In the festival materials, programme for children is marked with a smiley face and we also included recommended age. For the smallest children, we have prepared a playroom in the Garden Wing of Chateau Liberec.
